Basics.

When I think of the basics for jewelry, gold, silver and black come to mind. Pieces in those colors can be worn with anything, no? These are the neutral colors of jewelry.

When I was in high school and college, I looooved silver almost exclusively, I had chunky silver rings, silver bangles and even little silver cuffs for my hair.  But it's nothing like those perfect gold hoops that you can throw on with anything, and lately I've been feeling gold more than ever. For some reason it feels more mature...did I just say that?

And black! Black is just so dang dressy when you need to be. Black accessories are so spot on with your favorite LBD for a night out or fancy cocktail party.
